Calling Phantom fans and artists

The Ghost Who Walks is coming to Coffs Harbour. In a fabulous exhibition of artistic interpretation and imagination, Australia’s foremost artists are putting their Underpants on display (as it were) at the Bunker Cartoon Gallery from 10 March, 2017.

Featured artists include Gary Shead, Charles Blackman, Dick Frizzell, Euan Macleod, Michael Leunig and Reg Mombassa, among many, many other great Aussie artists. The exhibition is curated by Sydney artists Peter Kingston and Dietmar Lederwasch and its inception lies purely in their ongoing obsession with the cult classic comic hero.

Announcing the saso.creative Phantom Downunder Art Prize

As a company working in a creative space, we recognise and appreciate the contribution the Arts make to community, culture and society. To paraphrase someone from somewhere (sorry, I can’t recall who or where), banking may make you a good living, but it’s the Arts that makes the living good.

In that spirit, we are very pleased to announce the saso.creative Phantom Downunder Art Prize in conjunction with the Bunker Cartoon Gallery and the Phantom Art Show. We invite all artists in all mediums (except edible) to offer their interpretation of the Phantom; cash prizes totalling $1500 is up for grabs.
